Description
Catherine Decoito is a long-time Malvern resident, a former employee, and a participant at Womens' Place. Catherine speaks about how Malvern Family Resource Centre (MFRC) and Women's Place has been a source of professional support, employment and personal connection for her for years. She explains how Women's Place have been part of her support system while earning a college degree, and now taking online courses. Catherine describes some of the changes she has seen in Malvern since she first moved there, including increased diversity and transit connectivity. However, traveling beyond the nieghbourhood using transit can be difficult, whether that be to shop or to visit Women's Place at its upcoming location after the move. Catherine has a close bond with Women's Place and the participants for whom she ran programmes, but does not think she will visit as much after the move.
