Thomas Robles began as an instructor with the Writing Centre at UTSC in 2009. He describes the journey that brought him to UTSC, from his upbringing in the Philippines and Winnipeg, teaching ESL in Japan, and his ultimate decision to move to Toronto. Robles also discusses the history of the Writing Centre and the services and workshops the centre provides. He elaborates on his experience as an instructor at the centre before describing the approaches he takes in helping students. He ends by predicting the future of the centre and how it can be further integrated into classrooms.
