Georgette Zinary, Executive Director, Development and Alumni Relations at UTSC, reflects on both her time as a student in the late 1980s and administration at UTSC beginning in 2009. Georgette shares that she was the first person in her family to go to university. She speaks about how her involvement on campus changed after moving into residence in her second year, including involvement with the SCSU and the Underground. Georgette traced her career path with the university from a workstudy placement in the alumni office on the downtown campus to her current position. She shares the challenges of raising a family while working and studying for her MBA and talks about the importance of having more women in senior leadership postions.
