Margaret Thomson Horrighn traces her career journey from the early 70s, up to her current volunteer position at the Women’s Place at the Malvern Family Resource Centre (MFRC). She discusses how the centre has changed over the years and anticipates how it will continue to change in the future. She describes her experience as a member of Malvern, the perceptions and stigmas of Malvern, and how the community itself has grown. She emphasizes the importance of volunteering, of giving back to your community and being actively involved. Margaret discusses the impact that the Women’s Place has had on the Malvern community. She also discusses her personal life, family, and her birthplace, Scotland.
